A bit about the role...

We are looking for a great candidate to join the Affordable Housing Growth - North team as a Senior Growth Manager.

Our team works with housing associations, Mayoral Strategic Authorities, Local Authorities and developers to understand their plans for new affordable homes that need grant funding support from the Affordable Homes Programme.

You will make a vital contribution to efficient, consistent and compliant affordable housing grant bids being assessed and approved through our allocation route.

You will focus on developing effective relationships with our partners (strategic partners, housing associations, combined authorities, local authorities, developers and investors). This is to identify new opportunities for investment, develop investment propositions and work strategically to plan and implement interventions in markets and places to best meet local housing need and demand.

You will provide co-ordination of our affordable housing CME growth grant allocation programme at a national level, supported by our team of Analysts. You will work strategically to ensure our pipeline of new schemes seeking investment is being proactively managed to maximise our ability to achieve our annual targets. You will provide the leadership, co-ordination and structure to the programme analysis and reporting ensuring clear feedback is achieved.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of an incredibly busy fast-paced organisation and make a real difference to the lives of people and to communities.

The team works in a collaborative way, valuing diversity in backgrounds and experience to enable good decision making and problem solving.

This is a rare chance to help shape the future of affordable housing delivery in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose.
