Application closing date: 18/05/2025 AT 23:59
Interviews will take place: Week commencing 26/05/2025
Working in the Data Culture and Engagement team, and reporting to Head of Data Culture and Engagement, the Senior Data Business Partner will play a vital role in embedding a data-driven culture across Homes England. You’ll act as a trusted bridge between our Data & Analytics function and business teams, helping turn strategic data ambitions into practical, well-supported activity on the ground.
You’ll be joining a small but growing, committed team that’s passionate about making data more accessible, understood, and actionable. Whether it’s supporting a new data product rollout, engaging stakeholders in data governance, or championing capability needs, this role is central to making sure that colleagues are equipped, confident, and motivated to make better decisions with data.
The team values collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning and is committed to creating a team culture where challenge is welcomed, innovation is encouraged, and everyone plays a part in driving Homes England’s data maturity forward.
This is a unique opportunity to shape how we engage the organisation with data. You’ll work closely with colleagues from across our professions, including a variety of data discipline teams, operational teams and senior leaders to understand their needs, advocate for change, and ensure that the impact of data initiatives is recognised and embedded.
With exciting programmes underway across data governance, capability, automation, and innovation, this is a chance to influence meaningful transformation in a national organisation with real social purpose.
You’ll be experienced in working across teams to deliver data or digital initiatives, and you’ll understand the importance of listening, influencing, and building relationships at all levels. You may have worked in business change, business analysis, or stakeholder engagement roles, and will bring insight into what helps people adopt new ways of working.
You’re comfortable translating between technical and non-technical audiences, and confident in facilitating discussions that uncover real business needs. You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, someone who sees the potential of data to make a difference and wants to help others see that too.
You’ll understand the value of strong communication, the role of champions and communities, and how important it is to support teams in using data meaningfully. Above all, you’ll bring energy and enthusiasm for driving positive change and be motivated by the opportunity to shape how Homes England engages with data to deliver its mission.
