As part of the team delivering the Cladding Safety Scheme, enabling the remediation of eligible buildings with cladding systems which present an unacceptable life-safety risk, you will play a crucial role working alongside the Head of Governance & Reporting to provide delivery support and support the risk management of the programme.
You will be joining our small but experienced team, who are committed to making positive change in this sector. You will build your knowledge of systems and processes quickly in order to support internal and external stakeholders, whether on monthly reporting activity, incoming queries to the programme, supporting continuous improvement plans and our reporting cycle.
Whilst the day job is to provide delivery support and support the risk management of the Cladding Safety Scheme, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.
You are happy working in a role where the tasks vary and where pace is critical to our success.
You will be confident using your advanced Microsoft Excel skills when working with large datasets and have a proactive approach to problem solving and troubleshooting.
You'll be comfortable supporting other teams within the Cladding Safety Scheme if needed, and be happy to work independently as well as a member of our team.
You will have a positive outlook, enjoy learning and want to support the programme to enable Applicants to the Cladding Safety Scheme to get their buildings fixed for the benefit of their residents.
You will be comfortable using a range of IT systems, able to pick up the how through basic training and self-reference to user guides. You will be confident in using other Microsoft tools such as Outlook and Word.
Homes England : The Housing and Regeneration Agency
We believe that affordable, quality homes in well-designed places are key to improving people’s lives. As the government’s housing and regeneration agency, we create thriving new places and transform urban areas, combining the full breadth of our powers, expertise, land, capital and influence to bring investment to communities and get more homes built.
How? We form long-term partnerships that bridge the gap between the public and private sector to meet local needs and aspirations. We use our influence to champion the creation of sustainable homes, communities and places that are brilliantly designed for the people that live there now, and in the future. And we use our funding and support to build a more resilient, diverse and innovative housing sector, helping new entrants in the market, encouraging modern methods of construction and design, and promoting the utmost attention to building safety.
Together with our partners, we’re accelerating the pace of house building, remediation and regeneration across the country, as we seek to deliver ever more affordable homes in places people are proud to call home for generations to come.
