As part of the wider Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS) team, this role sits within the Business Planning and Strategic Management function and works closely with our newly created Head of Data & Insight to drive excellence in data, forecasting, modelling and reporting. This is a key role that will take an innovative and creative approach to developing high-quality forecasts, informed by policy, ministerial and budgetary decisions.
You will work with a wide range of partners, including Mayoral Strategic Authorities (MSAs), Fire and Rescue Services (FRS), developers and other sector stakeholders, fostering collaboration and supporting the delivery of positive outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, validated and reliable forecasts are produced to support programme and portfolio decision-making, helping to provide a trusted view of CSS delivery performance and future activity.
Joining an experienced and collaborative team, you will contribute to meaningful change and help improve how the sector works together to accelerate building remediation. You will also support the delivery of the National Remediation Database project plan, ensuring key milestones are achieved, dependencies and risks are managed, and resources are aligned to deliver successful outcomes.
As a Senior Manager within CSS, you will play an important role in shaping our collaborative culture, championing our values and fostering an inclusive environment that embraces diverse experiences and perspectives. You will help ensure that data, insight and customer feedback are embedded within continuous improvement activity, supporting CSS's commitment to delivering an excellent service to customers and stakeholders.

You will be a resilient and confident individual, comfortable operating at senior levels and navigating complex discussions across a diverse range of organisations and stakeholders. Highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented, you will be able to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery, working collaboratively across teams to achieve positive outcomes.
You will have a proven track record of using data and insight to support decision-making, identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing effective solutions, and managing competing priorities within a fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable translating complex information into clear, actionable insights for a range of audiences.
You will be a skilled relationship builder, capable of developing trusted and effective partnerships across government, industry and the wider remediation sector. You will foster collaboration, establish strong feedback mechanisms, and create an environment where continuous learning, innovation and improvement are embedded in the way teams work and deliver outcomes.
This role would suit someone who is naturally curious, solutions-focused and motivated by using data, forecasting and insight to influence decisions, improve performance and support the successful delivery of strategic objectives.
